The majority of safe lists have free membership and this is the best way to start as you can at least test them out to see how responsive they are before you decide whether or not to upgrade.

This safelist is a lot more responsive and now I am increasing my optins on a daily basis.It is certainly the most responsive out of all the advertising I have tried.It certainly beats PPC hands down.
List Volta seems to work well whether you are doing affiliate marketing or just for getting traffic to your site.I think this safelist is more effective as it consists of people who are interested in doing business on line. Check it out for your self here.
There are several more safelists available and to be honest the list is endless.It is a question of finding the ones that work for you.Of course all this takes time but if you are looking for free ways to promote your business then you have to put the time in to make progress.There is no easy way unless you are prepared to pay for it and sometimes even when you pay for something it doesn’t work.
I now use several safelists to promote my business as it is all about spreading the word.
